The hotel is a stone's throw away from Shinjuku station which makes it superbly easy for getting around and even had a great location for shopping and eating. The check-in process was smooth and I even really enjoyed the convenience of having a laundromat right down the hall for all that dirty kid laundry.

Look, it wasn't exactly a bargain but for Tokyo it's still acceptable.

The dining scene around Hotel Sunroute is a foodie’s dream! Fuunji's dipping ramen and Katsukura's tonkatsu were highlights of my culinary adventures. Plus, it's just a short walk to Shinjuku Station, making exploring a breeze!

On the flip side, the bedding was a bit lacking—small pillows and a firm bed made it tough to catch those Z’s. The clutter from a lamp and chair also cramped the cozy vibe.
